Job Summary
Manage multiple concurrent initiatives impacting over 20,000 WMS users citywide, ensuring projects meet operational, technical, and business requirements. Plan, coordinate, and oversee WMS-related technology projects and implementation activities to support agency operations, maintain service continuity, and achieve project objectives. Develop project schedules, implementation plans, milestones, and deployment strategies, then coordinate activities among HRA program areas, ITS divisions, OTDA, New York State ITS, vendors, and business stakeholders. Track deliverables, dependencies, risks, and implementation issues to develop recommendations for successful completion. Coordinate testing, deployment, validation, and post-implementation activities to ensure operational readiness and successful transition to support teams. Provide project status updates, implementation progress reports, and issue escalation documentation to management and stakeholders. Work 9:00AM – 5:00PM with after-hours/weekend availability if required.
Required Qualifications
- A baccalaureate degree from an accredited college in computer science, engineering, human computer interaction, interactive media, digital and graphics design, data visualization, communication or a related field
- Four years of satisfactory full-time experience related to the area(s) required by the particular position
- A specialization in a relevant technology, process, methodology and/or domain
- An associate degree from an accredited college in computer science, engineering, human computer interaction, interactive media, digital and graphics design, data visualization, communication or a related field
- Six years of satisfactory full-time experience related to the area(s) required by the particular position
- A baccalaureate degree from an accredited college
- Eight years of satisfactory full-time experience related to the area(s) required by the particular position
- Education and/or experience which is equivalent to the specified degree and experience requirements
- Availability for after hours and weekends
