Job Summary
Tack, weld, and fabricate equipment and tooling while grinding, cleaning, and beveling fit-ups to customer specifications. Utilize weld gauges for precise sizing, interpret technical schedules and prints, and maintain a safe, clean work environment through rigorous housekeeping and compliance with safety protocols. Complete ad-hoc assignments across work areas as business needs arise. This role supports the Precision Pulley & Idler division in Pella, IA, requiring a commitment to quality, safety, and continuous improvement within a loud, fast-paced manufacturing setting.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma
- General education degree (GED)
- One to three months related experience and/or training
- Equivalent combination of education and experience
- Willingness to learn processes
- Ability to use a tape measure
- Attention to detail
- Ability to work effectively within a team environment
- Consistent and appropriate sense of urgency
