Job Summary
Inspect fabricated parts and welded assemblies for conformance to blueprints and specs; read and interpret blueprints and weld symbols; measure using appropriate tools; collaborate with the Quality Manager and Shop Foreman to address quality issues; familiarity with welding/fabrication QC and AISC standards a plus.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience in quality control in welding/fabrication
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and standard weld symbols
- Familiarity with measuring tools and techniques
- Experience with welding inspection methods and criteria
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in work
- Knowledge of AISC standards is a plus
- Must be able to pass drug screening and background check before starting
