Welding Instructor

Job Summary
Welding Instructor responsible for coordinating and administering welding training and certifications, supporting onboarding and apprenticeship programs, coordinating QA/test requirements, maintaining records, and providing feedback to participants and management. Will assist in recruitment, onboarding of technical staff, and partner with HR and safety to ensure certifications and OJT documentation are filed and tracked. Requires extensive welding industry experience (7+ years), 3+ years in an instructional/leadership role in an industrial setting, familiarity with AWS/ASME/MIL welding codes, and proficiency with MS Project and Excel. Position based at The Navy Yard, Philadelphia, with an 8-hour shift from 6:00 am to 2:30 pm, plus additional duties as assigned. Must be a U.S. citizen and able to pass background clearances. Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 7 years of proven experience in the welding/manufacturing industry.
- Minimum of 3+ years’ experience as a Welding Instructor or leading a team in an industrial environment .
- Thorough familiarity with and understanding of AWS, ASME, and MIL welding Codes and standards.
- Evidence of Past welding qualifications in various welding processes a must.
