Job Summary
Welding Instructor overseeing two positions for a 222-day role. Requires at least 5 years of welding field experience and NCCER Core and Level I Welding certifications; Level II is preferred and the applicant must be able to obtain certification. Responsibilities include establishing and maintaining positive relationships with school stakeholders, state and federal agencies, and the public. Background check will be conducted after employment recommendation. Primary duties involve instruction and hands-on welding training aligned with NCCER standards; strong emphasis on safety, curriculum delivery, and student assessment. Location: Lake Charles, LA; on-site at the school.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years welding field experience
- NCCER Core certification
- NCCER Level I Welding certification required; Level II certification preferred and able to obtain certification
