Job Summary
Inspect welds for quality, penetration, and compliance; review fabrication drawings and welding procedures; conduct visual weld inspections. Work with welders and production supervisors to resolve defects and maintain inspection reports and documentation. Ensure compliance with shop safety and quality procedures. This role requires welding inspection experience, knowledge of welding codes and fabrication standards, and blueprint interpretation, with AWS certification preferred.
