Job Summary
Create processes and procedures for high-precision components using Gas Tungsten Arc, Electron Beam, Laser Beam, and Vacuum Furnace Brazing techniques. Analyze processes for efficiency, perform quality control functions, and troubleshoot defects by reviewing customer specifications to develop complex welding methods while maintaining industry standards. Develop weld qualification reports, procedure specs, and work instructions, then effectively communicate and train teams on proper techniques. Work independently and within a team environment to execute these duties. This full-time, direct-hire role offers a competitive salary of $90,000 to $140,000, excellent benefits, and a relocation package for candidates joining our international manufacturing company in WNY.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years' experience welding engineering for EBW, GTAW, LBW, and/or Furnace Processes
- 3+ years Research & Development in welding processes/welding metallurgy
- Bachelors degree in Materials Science, Welding, Mechanical/Chemical Engineering
- Technical understanding of stainless steel welding metallurgy
- Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States
- Visa sponsorship is not available
- 100% in office/on site
