Welding Engineer

Job Summary
As welding engineer, establish welding books for each project plant; develop and verify welding procedure qualification records (PQR) and welding procedure specifications (WPS) and welder qualifications; select suitable welding consumables and manage welding materials to ensure timely delivery and quality; develop technical welding methods to improve quality and efficiency; manage welding tests and laboratories; participate in solving anomalies related to welding methods; maintain welder logs, organize welder training, and plan; establish the list of welder performance qualification/WPQ; sign welding repair schemes when needed; propose measures to prevent/correct welding problems and implement them. Proficiency in welding standards (GB150, ASME, PED) and related documentation; strong communication in English; experience with PV/PP welding in pressure vessel/piping fabrication; familiarity with welding codes and safety practices.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor degree in Welding Technology and Equipment or Metal Material Forming and Control Engineering
- 3+ years related experience in Pressure Vessel or Pressure Piping fabrication
- knowledge of GB150, ASME and PED PV/PP welding Codes/std
- English and computer skills
