Job Summary
Fabricate metal products by cutting, drilling, bending, welding, grinding, and assembling materials using MIG techniques for aluminum and steel. Read blueprints, operate shop equipment including grinders and plasma machines, and assist with inventory tracking and shop organization. Move materials using pallet jacks, forklifts, and overhead cranes while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced environment. Join a team-oriented shop at Handi Ramp, the oldest manufacturer of aluminum and steel ramps in the United States, dedicated to improving accessibility and safety.
Required Qualifications
- At least 2+ years of MIG welding experience
- Experience welding aluminum and/or steel (.063 to 1⁄2-inch material preferred)
- Ability to work with and without blueprints
- Strong attention to detail and solid work ethic
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage time effectively
- Team-oriented with a problem-solving mindset
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
