Job Summary
Conduct welding, assembly, and materials tasks within production areas while maintaining a clean work environment. Safely operate forklifts and hoists to position work pieces, examine components for defects, and assemble parts according to production manuals. Cross train across multiple zones and support continuous improvement initiatives while adhering to all safety protocols. Requires metal fabrication background, proficiency with hand and power tools, and strong mechanical aptitude. Full-time production role with up to $21.50 hourly pay plus quarterly bonuses, offering medical, dental, vision, 401k, and PTO benefits.
Required Qualifications
- A background in metal fabrication and manufacturing
- Ability to read and assemble parts according to production work instructions
- Proficient in the use of a variety of hand tools and hand-held power tools
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Smart and exceptional organizational skills, detail oriented, and the ability to handle multiple priorities
- Ability to cross train and perform multiple areas
- Safely positions and secures work-piece using hoist
- Safely operates forklift
- Examines work-piece for defects and ensures conformance with specifications
- Using various hand tools to assemble component parts into finished products according to production manual specifications
- Practices and supports continuous improvement within the company
- Interacts well with other team members and also able to work independently
- Understands and complies with safety training
