Job Summary
Welder: responsible for troubleshooting, diagnosis and repair of equipment in shop or field environments, maintaining productivity and customer satisfaction. Performs welding (FCAW-3G certified or able to certify), reads regulations and instructions, plans and executes repairs, orders/receives parts, installs/rebuilds/replaces components, conducts tests and quality checks, and adheres to safety and contamination guidelines. Must be able to read safety/op maintenance instructions, demonstrate mechanical aptitude, and possess basic math skills. Requires valid driver’s license and forklift training; equal opportunity employer.
Required Qualifications
- Successful completion of the welder apprentice level or three years welding experience
- Must be certified in FCAW – 3G or possess the ability to pass certification test FCAW – 3G
- A valid driver’s license
- Must complete the in-house forklift-training program.
