Job Summary
Welder role focused on welding and repairing compactors, containers, and carts under general supervision. Responsibilities include performing welding processes (arc, gas, aluminum, brazing, soft soldering), repairing equipment, conducting safety checks, completing paperwork in fleet maintenance software, assisting senior welders, performing service calls for compactor repair, and handling related maintenance tasks (flame cutting, bending, forming, beveling, notching). Requires minimum 2 years of welding experience with MIG and TIG, ability to read prints/drawings, and adherence to OSHA safety standards. On-site fabrication/repair with typical hours M-F 8:00am-5:30pm, occasional Saturdays; salary around $33.45/hour with a base pay range estimated at $69,576/year.
