Welder

Welder needed to repair and construct fabricated equipment for FKCI’s Mining, Civil Divisions, and Lake Shore OEM projects. Responsibilities include producing high-quality fabricated items from drawings, safe operation of forklifts and overhead cranes, evaluating equipment for damage and wear, performing periodic facility maintenance in the shop, collaborating with multiple departments to improve efficiency, quality, and safety, and working overtime as required. Must read blueprints, perform layout tasks, have experience with SMAW, MIG, and TIG welding, and communicate effectively in a team environment. Requires self-motivation, ability to work with minimal supervision, and the physical ability to handle the job’s demands in an outdoor shop setting. Ability to work in varying weather conditions and maintain attendance as an essential requirement.
