Welder

Lay out, fit, and weld fabricated, cast, and forged components to assemble structural forms such as machinery frames, tanks, pressure vessels, and aircraft ground support equipment. Interpret blueprints, specifications, diagrams, or schematics to determine welding processes; inspect welds for structural soundness; comply with all safety requirements and protocols. Select equipment, plan layout, and perform welding using arc, gas-shielded arc, or TIG/MIG processes. Repair products by dismantling and reassembling parts. Become certified in LA90 wire and TIG welding. Proficient in aluminum weldments and in building small frames with more technical weldments. Meet time standards and maintain quality; willing to train on new products and advanced welding processes.
