Job Summary
Structural Fabrication Welder responsible for laying out, aligning, fitting and welding fabricated steel components to assemble structural forms; operate fabricating machines (cutoff saw, roll, brake, press, forming, spinning, punch) to cut, bend and shape steel; read blueprints to determine materials and sequence; weld handrails and stairs; follow jobsite safety rules; may work night shifts; must pass a welder certification test and a drug test; must have own tools; some overtime/weekend work.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED or High School Equivalence Preferred
- Structural welding experience
- Must pass welder certification test
- Must be able to pass drug test
- Must have own tools
- Experience reading blueprints and welding to specifications
