Job Summary
Full-time Welder/Tank Builder performing arc and torch cutting and gouging, welding plate with SMAW (7018, 7024, 6010), flux core (FCAW), and submerged arc (SAW) machines, operating lifting and access equipment, conducting non-destructive tests (vacuum box, oil tests, dye penetrant), and reading detailed erection and fabrication drawings to plan fitting, welding, repairing, and constructing above-ground metal storage tanks and related structures. Must work with safety equipment, monitor gas safety, and collaborate with crew members on site across nationwide tank projects. Requires strong communication, reliability, problem-solving, and compliance with safety protocols; HS diploma/equivalent and legal work eligibility in the United States are required. Required Qualifications
- high school diploma or equivalent
- Be eligible to work in the United States
- Be at least 18 years old
- Be willing to authorize background checks
- Be willing to authorize motor vehicle driving record checks
- Be willing to submit to pre-hire, random, and post-incident drug and alcohol testing
- Be willing to lift up to 50 lbs
- Be able to weld (welding ability is a plus)
- Be able to read detailed erection and fabrication drawings
- Be willing to work full-time
- Be willing to participate in safety trainings
- Be able to read and follow safety guidelines and job safety analysis
