Job Summary
Conduct mostly carbon steel flux core welding on heavy equipment fabrication. Interpret drawings to create layouts, calculate angles and circumferences for round objects, and fit steel and plate. Use measuring tools to ensure precision on projects. This role requires prior flux core experience and blueprint reading skills. Schedule includes 1st shift from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM Monday through Friday or 2nd shift from 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM.
Required Qualifications
- prior experience with flux core
- experience with fitting steel and plate
- Must be able to read blueprints
- Must be able to use measuring tools
- 1st shift Hours are 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM, Monday to Friday and 2nd shift is 3pm-11pm
Desired Qualifications
- Exp working on heavy equipment fabrication
- Exp with basic math, interpret a drawing to make a layout, and figure out angles and circumferences of round objects
