Job Summary
Welder (MIG) responsible for manual MIG welding of production parts in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, loading components into fixtures, performing dimensional inspections, maintaining production counts, following Kanban and safety protocols, inspecting welds and parts for defects, and supporting continuous improvement. Requires MIG welding experience or certification, ability to follow instructions, basic maintenance and math/communication skills, strong teamwork, reliable attendance, and adherence to quality standards. Weekly pay offered. Location: Toledo, OH. Job duties include loading parts, welding to standard work, quality checks, proper disposal of defects, keeping a clean work area, and contributing to process improvements.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience and/or certification in MIG welding
- Ability to perform MIG welding tasks on production lines while meeting quality and productivity standards
- Basic equipment maintenance skills, including replacing consumable welding components
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Basic math, reading, and communication skills
- Strong teamwork, attention to detail, and reliability
- Dependable attendance and solid work history
