Job Summary
Operate cranes, forklifts, and aerial lifts while welding vessels, piping, and metal materials using GTAW techniques with minimal supervision. Interpret blueprints and schematics to determine appropriate welding processes, then inspect completed welds to ensure structural soundness. Fabricate, join, and repair metal and other weldable materials by applying appropriate welding techniques. Perform a variety of tasks while promoting and supporting safety and production standards. This role requires proficiency in blueprint reading, visual inspection, and passing specific welding tests including 2G aluminum plate qualification. Candidates must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and work in environments involving frequent standing, bending, and occasional elevated positions. Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED
- Completion of a Welder Training Program
- Proficient in all positions with GTAW
- Proficient in knowledge of blueprint reading and welding symbols
- Proficient in visual inspection
- Must complete and pass welding test
- Weld Test will consist of 2G aluminum plate test with backing GTAW
- Ability to: Adhere to Company Standards and Values

- Ability to: Interact personably with co-workers and associates
- Lifting or carrying up to 50 lbs
- Frequent sitting, standing, stooping, bending, twisting, walking and occasional crawling
- Frequent pushing, pulling and handling of material
- Occasional climbing and working at elevated positions
- Repetitive hand movements during welding operations
