Job Summary
Prepare, cut pipe sections using table or jig saw, then setup lay-up sections. Weld pipe using MIG/ARC welding equipment and techniques, applying cold galvanizing solution to protect welds. Complete projects using manufacturing work orders and/or verbal instructions while locating materials. Perform visual inspection on completed work ensuring quality and maintain a clean and safe work area. Also performs other warehouse and gate fabrication duties as required. Monday through Friday schedule, day shift.
Required Qualifications
- 2-3 years welding experience with MIG, ARC
- Experience working with hand tools
- Able to lift/move heavy materials (up to 75lbs)
- Ability to read, write and perform basic math functions
- Ability to perform own layouts using jigs
- Ability to work around heat and chemicals
- Must be able to work overtime as needed
