Job Summary
The Welder at Select Water will fabricate or repair metal components using brazing and various welding techniques. Responsibilities include welding with little supervision, inspecting metal workpieces for specifications, reading blueprints, setting up and operating welding machines, and assisting with projects as needed. The role requires knowledge and proficiency in TIG and MIG welding, as well as the ability to perform physical tasks including lifting up to 50 lbs. Successful candidates will demonstrate strong communication skills and general welding knowledge.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to complete fabrication tasks
- Must be able to read English
Desired Qualifications
- Previous experience in oil/gas industry is preferred
- Strong math skills
- Strong oral and written skills
- Good knowledge and proficiency of TIG welding
- Extensive knowledge and proficiency of MIG welding
- General knowledge of Flux Core, Aluminum Wire, and Stick Welding
- General knowledge and proficiency of fabrication
