Job Summary
As a Welder Helper, you will be responsible for moving materials, grinding and cleaning welds, drilling and taping holes, and providing support to welders in the manufacturing process. Essential skills include following directions, reading production drawings, and maintaining cleanliness and safety in the workspace. You must be physically capable of lifting up to 75 lbs and performing repetitive motions. A high school diploma or equivalent is required, along with basic math and communication skills. The position requires compliance with safety regulations and an ability to work both individually and as part of a team.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to use basic math, writing, and computer skills
- Ability to speak, write, read, and comprehend procedures in English
- Ability to safely operate various hand and power tools
- Ability to work assigned hours plus overtime as needed
