Job Summary
Welder needed for pipe welding and fitting using GTAW (TIG) and GMAW (MIG). Read blueprints and drawings, take/read measurements to plan layout, determine appropriate welding methods, set up components, and weld in various positions (vertical, horizontal, overhead). Maintain safety, inspect welds, and test surfaces. Must read/interpret blueprints and welding symbols, understand GD&T, and operate related fabrication tools including band saws, grinders, and weld prep tooling. 2-3 years of welding experience or equivalent schooling; forklift experience helpful; strong communication skills and ability to perform heavy lifting.
Required Qualifications
- 2-3 years work experience or equivalent school experience in welding profession
- Familiarity with band saws, cutoff wheels, grinders, and weld prep tooling
- Must be able to read/interpret blue prints and have a good understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing
- Fork lift operating experience
