Job Summary
Prepare, cut pipe sections using table or jig saws, and lay out sections on jigs or tables. Weld pipe using MIG/ARC equipment and techniques, applying cold galvanizing solution to protect welds. Complete projects using manufacturing work orders and verbal instructions while locating necessary materials. Perform visual inspections on completed work to ensure quality and maintain a clean, safe work area. Execute other warehouse and gate fabrication duties as required. This role involves cutting pipe, welding, and fabrication tasks within a fast-paced environment.
Required Qualifications
- 2-3 years welding experience with MIG, ARC
- Experience working with hand tools
- Able to lift/move heavy materials (up to 75lbs)
- Ability to read, write and perform basic math functions
- Ability to perform own layouts using jigs
- Ability to work around heat and chemicals
- Must be able to work overtime as needed
