Job Summary
Perform welding tasks using MIG, TIG, and/or stick techniques while cutting, shaping, and assembling metal components according to blueprints. Inspect welded joints to ensure they meet quality standards and maintain tools, gages, and equipment in a clean, safe manner. Complete necessary paperwork, maintain accurate records of activities and materials, and work closely with team members to achieve production goals. Contribute to a continuous improvement culture and perform other duties beneficial to QA1's success. Monday through Thursday from 6:30am to 5:00pm with overtime pending business needs.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- 2+ Years of Welding Experience
- Proficiency in MIG, TIG, and/or stick welding techniques
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Ability to use inspection tools (micrometers, calipers, etc.)
- Prior experience with basic hand tools and power tools
- Ability to work efficiently with minimal supervision, both independently and as part of a team
- Basic computer skills
- Basic math, reading and English communication skills
- Must be available and open to the idea of cross training + learning
- Ability to work with a diverse team
- Verified personal and professional values aligning with QA1
- Must be available for Monday – Thursday from 6:30am – 5:00pm plus overtime pending business need
