Job Summary
Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the appropriate welding process. Operate welding equipment safely and effectively to fabricate and assemble metal structures according to engineering drawings. Perform welding on various metals and alloys using MIG, TIG, and other techniques while inspecting welds for accuracy and quality. Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to company policies and safety guidelines. Requires proven experience, familiarity with technical documents, and physical stamina to lift heavy materials. Certification in welding from a recognized institution or apprenticeship program is preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Welder or similar role
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings
- Familiarity with welding tools and equipment
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Physical stamina and strength to lift heavy materials and work in various positions
Desired Qualifications
- Certification in welding from a recognized institution or apprenticeship program
- Previous experience in (6 months-1 year)
- Knowledge of welding codes and standards
