Job Summary
Welder Operator, Subarc - 2nd Shift: Set up, operate, and monitor Sub Arc seam welders as well as MIG/TIG welders to produce welded components, while performing safety inspections on cranes, welding equipment, and tooling at shift start and periodically thereafter. Inspect materials, conduct in-process and final product inspections to verify conformance to customer specs and codes, document results, and prepare finished products for shipment. Maintain equipment and workspace safety, participate in cross-training, and support production goals. Proficient with welding equipment (Sub Arc, MIG, TIG), and able to use hand and pneumatic tools, perform material handling with cranes/forklifts, and adhere to SOPs and quality documentation. The role emphasizes safety, quality, documentation, and teamwork in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.
