Job Summary
Welder role performing welding on Apex products, including welding components at a fast pace in vertical/downward positions, clamping/tack-welding/grinding/bolting components, selecting/installing torches and filler rods per specifications, starting arcing and regulating gas flow, operating SMAW and GMAW equipment, inspecting initial product quality, maintaining equipment and safety, moving materials, adhering to policies, and reporting issues. Requires high school diploma or GED and at least 1 year of production welding experience; overtime and weekend hours may be required; physical ability to stand for long periods and lift 50 pounds. Based in Jonesboro, AR.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Minimum of 1-year work experience in production welding
- Demonstrated welding ability
- Able to work overtime hours (more than 40 hours per week and Saturdays) as required
- Stand and walk continuously for 8-10 hours, if necessary
- Lift and carry 50 pounds
