Welder- Night Shift

Job Summary

Required Qualifications

• •Must have some experience in welding and be able to make a quality weld
• •Must be safety minded
• •Requires attention to detail and a high standard of quality
• •Must comply to ISO 9000 required policies
• •Must be a team player who can work effectively in a team environment
• •Good interpersonal, verbal communication and active listening skills
• •Able to lift 50 pounds occasionally and push/pull 100 pounds occasionally
• •Standing on concrete – 100% of the time
• •Lifting items less than 35lbs. from the ground – Highly repetitive
• •Lifting items 35lbs – 50lbs. - Occasional
• •Twisting or turning - Highly repetitive
• •Bending or squatting - Highly repetitive
• •Pinch grip- Highly repetitive
• •Hands above shoulders - Rare
• •Areas can be exposed to high heat and ultra violet light
• •Wrist and hand usage is above normal
• •Heavy use of vibrating tools such as a grinder
• •Flying debris is also a greater risk in these areas
• •Pre-employment drug screening required

• •Able to set a welder according to job requirements
• •Able to read weld symbols
• •To follow safety procedures
• •To keep an accurate count on product
• •Able to read prints and weld according to print directions
• •Able to weld in multiple positions
• •Able to read and use measuring tools accurately
• •Able to use a hoist or crane and know the correct procedures to operate it
• •To complete jobs on a timely and consistent basis
