Job Summary
Welder responsible for welding operations on investment castings using GTAW, reading and interpreting blueprints and specifications to ensure precise welds, inspecting castings for quality, performing cosmetic repairs, and maintaining a safe, organized work environment. Collaborates with engineers and team members to address issues and implement improvements; adheres to safety protocols and company regulations; requires 5+ years of GTAW welding experience on aerospace investment castings, capable of welding nickel, cobalt, stainless steel, and aluminum, with welding certifications and strong attention to detail. Shift is 1st day shift (7:00am-3:30pm, Mon-Fri) with overtime and potential nights/weekends; located in Whittier, CA.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of welding experience with focus on investment castings aerospace manufacturing
- Proficient in Gas Tungsten Arc Welding (GTAW)
- Proficient welding with all alloys, Nickel, Cobalt, Stainless Steel, Aluminum
- Welding certifications
- Ability to communicate effectively and interact with team members
- Proficient in basic arithmetic
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications
