Job Summary
Maintain or repair processing equipment for aggregate and ready-mix plants, including conveyors, screen decks, cone crushers, feeders, and pumps. Fabricate and assemble structural metal products such as frameworks, shells for machinery, ovens, tanks, stacks, and metal parts for buildings and bridges. Ensure a safe work environment by adhering to company policies while working at heights, in tight spaces, and in awkward positions. Read plans and blueprints to guide fabrication of metal parts for buildings and bridges. Submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug/alcohol screen, and background check.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma/GED
- Experience with AWS certification, lathes, milling machines and other related equipment
- Able to read plans and blueprints
- Experience with shears, benders and other metal works equipment
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, specifically Word and Excel
- Able to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
- Able to work and weld in a variety of settings including at heights, in tight spaces and awkward positions
- 5 years' experience as a certified welder preferred
