Job Summary
Maintain or repair equipment used to process aggregates, including conveyors, screen decks, cone crushers, feeders, and pumps. Fabricate and assemble structural metal products such as frameworks, shells for machinery, ovens, tanks, stacks, and metal parts for buildings and bridges. Ensure a safe work environment by following company policies and procedures. Read plans and blueprints to guide fabrication and assembly tasks. Hourly rate is $46.30. Requires a high school diploma/GED, five years' experience as a certified welder preferred, and AWS certification. Candidates must be able to work independently and as part of a team in various settings, including heights and tight spaces. Required Qualifications
- High school diploma/GED
- Experience with AWS certification, lathes, milling machines and other related equipment
- Able to read plans and blueprints
- Experience with shears, benders and other metal works equipment
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, specifically Word and Excel
- Able to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
- Able to work and weld in a variety of settings including at heights, in tight spaces and awkward positions
- Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug/alcohol screen, and background check
- Some positions require FMCSA regulated on-going drug and alcohol testing
Desired Qualifications
- 5 years' experience as a certified welder preferred
