Job Summary
Welders needed to fabricate and assemble industrial components at our new Mesquite, TX facility. Responsibilities include welding in flat, vertical, or overhead positions using multiple processes (GTAW, GMAW, FCAW, SMAW, plasma arc, resistance welding), examining pieces for defects, laying out and securing parts, preparing surfaces, and repairing products as required. Must read and interpret engineering drawings, measure pieces to spec, mark material, and maintain safety and quality standards. Education required: High School Diploma and/or equivalent. Prior manufacturing welding experience and ability to operate related equipment are expected.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma
- Relevant welding experience in a manufacturing environment
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
- Proficiency in English (written and spoken)
- Experience with various welding processes (GTAW, GMAW, FCAW, SMAW) or related certifications if stated
- Ability to work safely and maintain quality workmanship
