Job Summary
Weld aluminum and steel trailer frames while adhering to health and safety rules and wearing personal protective equipment. Read and interpret work orders, BOMs, and blueprints to execute MIG, TIG, and various weld types across multiple workstations. Ensure correct axle placement, squareness, and proper installation of ramp doors and gates. Grind raised welds, store tools, and maintain a clean shop floor. Use power and hand tools, including cranes and saws, while measuring and squaring linears prior to final placements. Work 40-50 hours weekly with good attendance, performing prolonged standing and lifting up to 75 pounds. Willingness to cross-train between departments is required.
