WELDER LEAD B

Supervises a group of hourly welders to meet quality and safety standards within production schedules. Responsibilities include overseeing hourly workers on daily assignments, completing time entries, monitoring job activity, assisting plan management with procedures, equipment, and manpower needs, selecting and scheduling staff, ensuring quality and cost containment, maintaining equipment, and enforcing safety rules and regulations. Requires knowledge of welding techniques and equipment, ability to read blueprints/drawings, strong planning and leadership abilities, effective communication, and familiarity with safety, health, and environmental regulations. High School Diploma or GED is required and at least 4 years of welding experience.
