Job Summary
Fabricate, assemble, install, and repair metals using MIG, TIG, Stick, and Arc techniques. Read blueprints and schematics to set up components, operate angle grinders, and determine appropriate welding methods. Inspect welded surfaces, maintain equipment, and document completed work while collaborating with engineers and supervisors. Follow all safety protocols and wear required PPE in industrial, construction, or maintenance settings. Work Monday through Friday with flexibility for weekends to meet project deadlines.
Required Qualifications

- Minimum of 1 year of experience performing essential job functions
- Ability to pass a Background Check and Drug Screening
- Must be able to use different techniques such as MIG, TIG, Stick and Arc
- Must be able to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings
- Must be able to weld components using manual or semi-automatic welding equipment in various positions (vertical, horizontal, overhead)
- Must be able to operate angle grinders and other tools to prepare metal parts
- Must be able to set up components for welding according to specifications
- Must be able to determine appropriate welding equipment and methods based on project requirements
- Must be able to inspect and test welded surfaces and structures to ensure they meet specifications
- Must be able to maintain welding equipment and tools in proper working condition
- Must be able to follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work area
- Must be able to collaborate with engineers, fabricators, and supervisors to complete tasks efficiently
- Must be able to document work completed and report any issues or defects
- Must be able to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and reach for extended periods
- Must be able to work in various positions (e.g., laying down, vertical, overhead) for prolonged periods
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds unassisted
- Must be capable of climbing ladders, scaffolding, and working at heights
- Must have manual dexterity and physical strength to use hand and power tools safely and effectively
- Must have sound judgment and decision-making skills
- Must be able to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines under pressure
- Visual acuity (corrected or uncorrected) is sufficient to operate equipment safely and read documents
- Hearing ability (corrected or uncorrected) sufficient to hear and understand instructions and warnings in a noisy environment
- Must be flexible to work weekends if needed to complete project deadlines
Desired Qualifications
- 1-3 years of welding experience in an industrial, manufacturing, or construction setting
- Proficient in MIG, TIG, Stick, and/or Arc welding techniques
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Familiarity with safety practices and PPE requirements
