Job Summary
Fabricate, assemble, and repair metal structures, parts, and equipment using MIG, TIG, Stick, or Oxy-acetylene techniques on steel, aluminum, and stainless steel. Read blueprints and technical drawings to determine job specifications, set up and calibrate welding equipment, and inspect welded joints for quality and safety compliance. Maintain a clean workspace adhering to OSHA regulations, manage material inventory, and troubleshoot issues to meet project deadlines. Collaborate with team members and departments while ensuring proper use of protective gear. Work Monday through Friday from 6 AM to 6 PM.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Welder or in a similar role
- Strong understanding of welding techniques, materials, and equipment
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documents
- Knowledge of welding safety procedures and regulations
- Physical stamina and the ability to work in a standing or kneeling position for extended periods
- High school diploma or equivalent (or vocational training in welding)
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50+ lbs
- Ability to work in various weather conditions and in confined spaces
