The Welder performs welding tasks in support of concrete construction operations, including cutting, joining, and repairing metal components used in formwork, rebar assemblies, and structural supports. Responsibilities include laying out components from detailed prints, fitting components within tolerances, setting up weld equipment, welding using proper techniques, grinding/finishing welds for aesthetics, daily housekeeping, and operating material handling equipment while adhering to safety standards, engineering specs, and project timelines. On-site collaboration with project managers, field supervisors, and concrete crews to ensure structural integrity and compliance with applicable codes.
