Job Summary
Welder position at Nucor Skyline in Iuka, MS. Weld structural steel parts per drawings or prints, safely produce quality products, maintain housekeeping standards, obtain and maintain welding certifications, and be willing to work any shift with potential weekends/holidays as needed. Candidates may undergo a site-specific weld test and must pass a background check and drug screen after offer. Emphasis on safety policies and teamwork; experience with air arc gouging, plasma torch, blueprints, welding symbols, gauges, and overhead crane is preferred.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Welding certification from a college, technical, or trade school or at least two years of welding experience in an industrial environment
