Job Summary
Welder II LAV responsible for tack and finish welding of piping systems and small vessels using SMAW, FCAW, SAW, GTAW and GMAW per CCC procedures (ASME, API, AWS, ANSI codes). Reads drawings/sketches to determine weld size/location, performs inspections and repairs, and ensures welds meet design specifications. Performs back-gouge as needed, passes non-destructive testing for pressure-retaining welds, and operates material-handling equipment. Maintains a clean, safe shop and adheres to company policies. Requires a high school diploma or GED (associate degree preferred) and 2-3 years of welding experience; CCC certifications and related qualifications may apply.
