Job Summary
Plan and perform hand fusion, machine welding or other associated metal joining process using standard tools and methods to fabricate or repair parts. Follow drawings or instructions, set equipment parameters for quality welds, prepare parts, operate welding equipment (including CNC/welding cycles), and inspect results using methods such as X-Ray film or visual checks. Maintain certifications and adapt to duties as assigned while supporting aerospace manufacturing in an onsite, weekend-shift environment.
Required Qualifications
- High School or GED plus 1+ years related experience, or a completed degree/certificate from a post-secondary or vocational school in a related field with 0-1+ years related experience
