Job Summary
Entry-level Welder I position responsible for performing welding operations, maintaining quality standards, and adhering to safety protocols in a manufacturing environment. Requires a high school diploma, basic math skills, and ability to work in compliance with government regulations.
Required Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident Card Holder.
- Must pass initial and subsequent background checks.
- Must pass preemployment and subsequent drug and alcohol screenings.
- Comply with internal non-disclosure agreement requirements.
- Ability to speak, read, write, and comprehend the English language.
- Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, measurement conversion, fractions and decimals).
- Maintain Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives 'Employee Possessor' eligibility.
- Possess a High School Diploma or GED, Vocational School Diploma or Graduation, Technical or Trade School Certificate.
- Basic computer literacy.
- Must pass an internal weld certification test within first 90 days of employment.
- Demonstrate proficiency in GTAW and familiarity with common welding equipment.
