Job Summary
Conduct daily equipment checks, read shop master drawings, and weld joints using appropriate schedules while verifying part orientation and dimensions. Inspect raw materials, components, and assemblies for quality control, perform He leak checks, and submit daily production counts to the supervisor. Clean the outside surface after welding, maintain the gowning area, and segregate cleanroom suits for laundry. Report any abnormalities to the lead, ensure product safety through proper storage, and conduct 6'S before leaving the work area. Update necessary records and perform minor maintenance on equipment.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Two-year vocational welding program or equivalent experience
- Understanding of the use of measuring devices, such as micrometers, calipers, tapes, etc.
- Qualified to read blue prints
- Positive Attitude
- Attention to detail
