Job Summary
Fabricate parts or products according to shipping orders and production drawings, performing MIG welding, reading blueprints, and conducting quality checks. Maintain a clean work area, follow safety guidelines, and adhere to 5S/lean manufacturing principles. Requires ability to read and comprehend basic drawings, perform routine production tasks under supervision, and operate with reliable attendance. Forklift certification and basic math skills are needed; preferred HS diploma or GED.
Required Qualifications
- Some welding experience required
- General knowledge of machines and tools
- Basic computer skills
- General knowledge of raw materials, production processes, and quality control
- Basic knowledge of simple arithmetic
- Be able to analyze information and evaluate results to choose the best solution to a problem
- Must be forklift certified
- Preferred: High school diploma or GED
