Job Summary
Welder I at Calgon Carbon in Pittsburgh, PA. Under supervision, performs tack welding and finish welding of piping systems using SMAW, FCAW, and GMAW welding procedures; welds vessels and structural components; inspects own work for compliance with drawings and weld procedures; operates forklift, jib cranes, and overhead crane after training; supports material handling and welding tasks; complies with safety policies and CCC procedures; 3-shift operation with 40 hours/week; high school diploma or GED required, associate degree preferred.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED is required
- Associates degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school is preferred
- 2-3 years welding experience is required
- ASME code welding is preferred
