Job Summary
Perform basic welding on components and materials while reading blueprints and welding symbols. Inspect welds to ensure quality standards are met and use measuring devices and hand tools accurately. Follow all safety procedures, properly use required PPE, and maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area. Work as part of a team to meet production goals. This position works in a manufacturing environment with machinery, varying temperatures, dust, and elevated noise levels. Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Basic welding knowledge and skills
- Ability to read a tape measure and use common hand tools
- Ability to read and follow blueprints and work instructions
- Basic computer/data entry skills
- Strong attention to safety, quality, and detail
- Dependable, team-oriented, and willing to adapt to changing production needs
- Overtime and weekend work
- Required PPE and safety procedures
