Job Summary
Welder I at Caterpillar in Victoria, TX on 2nd shift 1:30pm-9:30pm. Responsibilities include hand welding in multiple positions to create parts using semi-automatic MIG welders and .052 solid wire, using robotic welding technology to enhance capabilities and efficiency, performing advanced welding techniques in a safe, quality-driven environment, and using jib and overhead cranes to position parts. Work in one- and two-person weld zones that are clean, well-ventilated, and equipped with the latest technologies. Commit to being on-time and reliable. Basic qualifications: welding certification or minimum 6 months welding experience; ability to work in a team; follow directions and standard work; 18+; lift up to 35 lbs; stand for prolonged periods; produce quality work; and read blueprints (preferred). 2nd shift pays $19.10/hr plus a $1.00 night shift premium, with opportunities for pay increases, bonuses, and advancement, plus day-one benefits. Required Qualifications
