Job Summary
Manual MIG/TIG welding of heavy equipment components and assemblies (GTAW & GMAW) on carbon steel and stainless steel, reading weld symbols and GD&T, supporting QA with layouts and inspections, and completing weld assemblies to customer specs. Responsibilities include setting up welding equipment and projection welder, 1st piece layouts, troubleshooting weld builds, processing quality documentation, loading robot welder, interpreting CMM reports, and ensuring AWS specifications are met in a manufacturing/industrial environment.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- AWS Certification preferred
- Minimum 2 years of heavy equipment manual welding experience in an industrial setting
- Basic understanding of GD&T and print reading
- Ability to frequently lift and/or move items over 50 pounds
- Must be eligible to work in the United States; E-Verify partner; H1B sponsorship available
