Job Summary
Welder needed for Murphy Maritime LLC to support construction and maintenance of docks. Responsibilities include MIG welding, fabricating/assembling parts from blueprints, sheet metal and structural fabrication, welding stainless and aluminum (TIG welding a plus), operating hand and power tools, maintaining safety and quality standards, performing routine maintenance and inspections, collaborating with team members, and keeping a clean, organized worksite. Requires one year of welding/fabricating experience or completion of college trade school training including welding, ability to perform physical labor outdoors in varying weather, strong attention to detail, good communication and teamwork, and a valid driver’s license with reliable transportation. Benefits include health, dental, vision insurance and paid time off. Salary range suggested: $24.00 - $31.00 per hour.
