Job Summary
Fabricate and manufacture metal parts for trailer assembly while producing strong, clean welds using MIG, TIG, and grinding techniques. Perform rust repairs and execute simple quality tests to ensure weld strength and tolerance. Determine material measurements and fabricate components for later assembly processes. This gritty, physically demanding role requires standing for long periods, lifting heavy objects, and working in confined spaces. Schedule includes 7:00am to 4:30pm, Monday through Friday at our Greensboro, NC Trailer Shop. Prior experience in trailer repairs and familiarity with welding symbols are required.
Required Qualifications
- Prior experience welding
- Familiarity with common welding tools and procedures, including MIG welding, TIG welding, metal fabricating, grinding, and finishing metals
- Knowledge of common welding symbols
- Ability to stand, crouch, and occasionally lift heavy equipment
Desired Qualifications
